A) PUBLIC HEALTH ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT

05 POSTS OF ASSISTANT ENGINEER (CIVIL) BPS-17
(URBAN) (MALE ONLY)
AGE: MIN: 21, MAX: 30 YEARS

ELIGIBILITY:
Only male candidates who are citizens of Pakistan, domiciled and permanent resident of Sindh province can apply.

QUALIFICATIONS:
i.          B.E (Civil) from a recognized University.

ii.          Registration as Professional Engineer with the Pakistan Engineering Council.

NOTE:
The Sub-Engineers serving in the Public Health Engineering Department who possess the qualification prescribed for initial appointment and have crossed the upper age limit shall be eligible to compete only once up to the age of 35 years in their case.

 

B) WORKS & SERVICES DEPARTMENT

21 POSTS OF ASSISTANT ENGINEER (CIVIL) BPS-17 (EDUCATION WORKS) 04 RURAL, 17 URBAN
MALE & FEMALE         AGE: MIN. 21, MAX. 30 YEARS

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. B.E.(Civil) in 2nd division from a recognized University,
  2. Registered as professional with Pakistan Engineering Council.

Note:
i.          The Sub-Engineers serving in the Directorate of Engineering Works Education Department who possess the qualification prescribed for initial appointment and have crossed the upper age limit shall be eligible to compete only once up to the age of 35 years.

ii)         There is a General relaxation upto 15 (Fifteen) years in upper age limit for vacancies in all the departments of Government of Sindh, to be filled from 1st July, 2014 to 30th June, 2016 as per Notification No. SOII (S&GAD)5-64/2011 dated 29-10-2014 (Except Police Service & the posts to be filled through Combined Competitive Examination by the Sindh Public Service Commission).

C) REHABILITATION DEPARTMENT

01 POST OF DIRECTOR GENERAL BPS-20 (OPEN MERIT) PROVINCIAL DISASTER MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY, SINDH        AGE: MIN 35, MAX. 45 YEARS
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:
Master’s Degree at least in 2nd Division from a recognized University with courses or training related to Disaster Risk Management (DRM), Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR), rehabilitation works, fire fighting, first aid, security, leadership (HRD), coordination, relief and rescue operations and having minimum five (05) years experience.

Note:

            Those candidates who had previously applied for the post of Director General BPS-20 (PDMA) against Sindh Public Service Commission’s Consolidated Advertisement No. 05/2014 dated: 01-12-2014 are advised to apply afresh.

APPLICATION FORM:
i.          Application Forms & prescribed syllabus will be issued by the Sindh Public Service Commission, Head Office, Thandi Sarak, Hyderabad & Regional Offices of SPSC, 2nd Floor, Sindh Secretariat Building No. 06, Karachi, Near Govt. Al-Falah High School, Minara Road, Sukkur & Commissioner’s Secretariat, Opposite Shaikh Zaid Hospital, Larkano. However, candidates are required to pay examination fee of Rs. 1,000/- (Rupees One Thousand only) through challan in the Head of Account “C02101-Organ of State-Exam Fee (SPSC Receipts)”. The copy of paid Original Challan should be submitted along with all relevant documents within or by the closing date.

ii.          Application Form, prescribed Syllabus and Challan Forms can also be downloaded from Sindh Public Service Commission Official Website www.spsc.gov.pk

iii.         No application form shall be entertained unless original challan of Rs. 1,000/- duly paid in State Bank/National Bank of Pakistan, attested copies of required certificates and three attested passport size photographs are enclosed.

iv.         Request for application forms by post will be entertained by the Head Office only, if accompanied by self addressed large size envelope bearing Rs. 30/- stamps for Registered post and Rs. 20/- stamps for ordinary post and photo copy of paid challan of Rs.1,000/- (Rupees One Thousand only).

v.         The Commission under no circumstances shall be responsible for non-receipt or late receipt of any posted letter(s).

vi.         Candidates residing abroad can apply from there on plain paper giving Age, Qualification, Domicile, PRC on form “D” and three attested passport size Photographs along with all supporting documents. They shall be required to produce at the time of interview original Challan of Rs. 1,000/- (Rupees one thousand only) duly paid in any Branch of State Bank/National Bank of Pakistan as well as prescribed application form duly completed in all respects.

vii.        The number of posts is subject to variation without any prior notice.

viii.       The candidates should have required age and qualification on closing date. Age shall also be reckoned on the basis of closing date.

Applications should reach the Head Office of Sindh Public Service Commission, Thandi Sarak, Hyderabad or any of the regional offices of the sindh public service commission on or before the closing date up to 04:00 p.m. (office hours).No extra time will be allowed for postal transit etc.

Applications received after closing date will not be entertained.
