Qualification for Tehsildar Jobs in Punjab:
i) Graduation(Second Division) from a University recognized by Higher Education Commission; and
ii) Computer literate.
TEHSILDAR SYLLABUS FOR WRITTEN EXAMINATION
The written examination will be conducted comprising the following four Papers = Total 400 Marks
Paper-1: English Essay & Composition 100 Marks
Paper-2: Urdu Essay & Composition 100 Marks
Paper-3: Paper-3 MCQ type paper of 90 minutes duration containing questions relating to:
a. General Knowledge, Approx. (70%)
Pakistan Studies, Current Affairs, Islamic Studies (General Knowledge for Non-Muslim candidates), Geography, Basic Mathematics, English, Urdu,
Everyday Science.
b. Basic Computer Studies Approx. (30%)
including M.S office, Electronic Record Keeping, Internet, Email etc.
Paper-4: MCQ type paper of 90 minutes duration on Revenues Laws 100 Marks
Note: The candidates, who qualify written Examination, will be called for Psychological Assessment and Interview.

Psychological Assessment and Viva Voce: 200 Marks
IMPORTANT NOTES:
i) Negative Marking shall be made and 0.25 marks shall be deducted for each incorrect answer in the MCQ papers.
ii) Acandidate shall have to obtain 40% marks in each paper and 50% marks in the aggregate to qualify for interview. Thereafter, a candidate shall also secure 50% marks in the interview to be held eligible for final merit list of successful candidates.
