IMAT: International Medical Admissions Test
IMAT is divided into four sections:
General Knowledge and Logical Reasoning
Biology
Chemistry
Physics and Mathematics
Section 1: The Logical Reasoning and General Knowledge Section;
This section consists of 22 multiple-choice questions
General Knowledge: 12 questions
Logical Reasoning: 10 questions
This part assesses general problem-solving abilities, argument comprehension, data analysis and inference, and general information.

Section 2:SCIENTIFIC KNOWLEDGE: BIOLOGY
The Biology portion includes 18 multiple-choice questions that assess the ability to utilise factual information from classroom science, Biology.
SCIENTIFIC KNOWLEDGE: CHEMISTRY
The Chemistry portion includes 12 multiple-choice questions that assess the ability to utilise factual information from classroom science, Chemistry.
SCIENTIFIC KNOWLEDGE: MATHEMATICS & PHYSICS
The part on Mathematics and Physics consists of eight multiple-choice questions that assess the ability to utilise factual information from classroom science, Mathematics, and Physics.

1.5 points for each correct answer
-0.4 points for each wrong answer,
0 points for each question not answered.
The minimum score for the ranks is 20 points.
