Composition of Cadet College Jhelum
Cadet College Jhelum is composed of four parts.
Junior School             Class I—V
Prep School               Class VI—VII
Senior School            Class IX—X and “GCE O-Level”
College Wing             Class XI—XII and “GCE A-Level”
Admission Process
Written Test
A) Written test for admission in primary classes is taken from the following subjects:
English
Urdu
Mathematics
B) Written Test for Admission from VI classes onward is taken from the following subjects:
English
Urdu
Mathematics
Science
C) For admission in First year, test is taken from the following subjects:
English
Physics
Chemistry or Computer
Mathematics or Biology
Interview & Medical Examination
Candidates who are able to score at least 50% marks in every subject and 60% in aggregate are called for an interview. Medical checkup is carried out by the College Medical Officer on the same day.
Final Selection
The final selection is made on over all merit achieved by the candidate in written test and interview.
