Qualification
Graduate Degree (Second Division) from a recognized University.
Age, Important Note and Remaining Pre-Conditions
Age Limit
21 to 30 years as on 1st January 2026.
In case of officials serving in connection with the affairs of the Federal Government, who are domiciled in Punjab, as well as officials serving in connection with the affairs of the Punjab Government having at least 4 years service as such, the upper age limit shall be 35 years. For special persons, maximum 15 years relaxation in upper age limit shall be allowed as per Punjab Civil Servants Recruitment (Relaxation of Upper Age Limit) Rules, 1976.
Important Notes
The relaxation as per Government of the Punjab, S&GAD Notification No. SOR-III(S&GAD)1-25/94(P), dated 29-11-2012, Punjab Delegation of Powers (Relaxation of Age) Rules, 1961, shall not apply to the posts of the Punjab Government required to be filled through Combined Competitive Examination conducted by the Punjab Public Service Commission.
Employees of Semi-Government and Autonomous Bodies of Federal Government and those of Local Bodies are not entitled to age concession for the period of their service in such organizations.
Remaining Pre-Conditions
The cut-off date for determining eligibility as far as age is concerned shall be 1st January 2026. However, the candidate must fulfill and complete all other pre-conditions/qualifications for the examination on or before the closing date given in this advertisement.
Candidates must produce original certificates at the time of Psychological Assessment and Interview to authenticate the claim in the application form.

Syllabus for Written Examination
Compulsory Subjects (6 Papers – Total 600 Marks)
1. English Essay (Subjective) – 100 Marks
2. English (Precis, Comprehension & Translation) (Subjective) – 100 Marks
3. Urdu (Essay, Precis, Comprehension & Translation) (Subjective) – 100 Marks
4. Islamic Studies / Ethics (For Non-Muslims Candidates) (Combination of Subjective & Objective) – 100 Marks
5. Pakistan Studies (Combination of Subjective & Objective) – 100 Marks
6. General Knowledge (Objective) – 100 Marks
Psychological Test and Interview/Viva Voce: 300 Marks
Notes
Negative marking will be done and 0.25 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer in the Objective (MCQ) paper of General Knowledge.
Non-Muslim candidates have the option either to attempt paper on Islamic Studies or “Ethics”.
All candidates shall take all compulsory subjects.

Notes:
Syllabus for the Optional Subjects is available on the PPSC website.
The minimum standard for the question papers will be of Graduate Level.
Important Notes
A candidate shall have to obtain 45% marks in each paper and 50% marks in the aggregate i.e. 600 marks to qualify for interview. Thereafter, a candidate shall also secure 50% marks in the interview to be held eligible for final merit list of successful candidates.
No change/addition/deletion of optional subjects mentioned at the time of submission of online application form will be made and no further representation will be entertained.
Incompletely/wrongly filled optional subjects in the online application forms will be finally rejected. No further representation on this issue will be entertained.
Change in the priority/selection of examination centres shall not be allowed.
If request of variation in number of posts is received at any stage, it shall be accepted by the Commission without inviting fresh applications. The variation in number of posts will be reflected at PPSC website as a notice only.
Examination will be conducted in phases.
General Instructions
1. Please read the “important instructions” regarding Application Fee, Written Test and Interview on PPSC website before applying online.
2. In case a candidate claims that his/her qualification is equivalent to the prescribed qualification, he/she will be required to submit equivalence certificate of his/her foreign/local qualification issued by Higher Education Commission (H.E.C) or Qualification Equivalence Determination Committee (Q.E.D.C) of the concerned department, which will be accepted by the Commission as final at the time of interview or whenever asked. Failure to submit the certificate will result in cancellation of candidature.
3. In-service candidates must ensure that they have obtained/applied for NOC/DPC from their concerned department(s) and will provide the same at the time of interview, if called.
4. Candidates must have obtained/applied for Registration Certificate from PEC/PNC/PMDC/PMC/PVMC or other relevant regulatory body on or before the closing date and will provide the same at the time of interview, if called.
5. Candidates will provide marks obtained/total marks or percentage certificates of all degrees issued by the competent authority at the time of interview. CGPA is not acceptable.
6. No information shared by anyone other than the PPSC website shall be considered authentic.
7. Applicants are advised to deposit fees online only using the following mediums: ATMs, Mobile Phone Banking, Internet Banking, Over-the-Counter (by visiting nearest 1Link Member Bank Branches), JazzCash, EasyPaisa, U Paisa, and other available micro-finance banks.
