The US dollar (USD) lost more value against the Pakistani rupee (PKR) news today and ended at Rs296.85 in the official trading.
In the official market, the Pakistani rupee (PKR) gained Rs1.11 against the US dollar (USD) and closed at Rs296.85, compared to Rs297.97 from the previous day.
Currency dealers say that in the open market, one US dollar is being exchanged for Rs298, while banks are selling it to importers at Rs297.35.
Earlier today, the US dollar (USD) was a bit lower than it has been for the past six months during early European trading on Friday. This happened because the US dollar got stronger after some good news about the US economy, while the Chinese yuan also did well because of better-than-expected news from China.
