(BS-16) SENIOR INSPECTOR (On Contract Basis for the period of 03 Years) Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)
Qualification required:
M.Sc /BS (second division) in Environmental Sciences/B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from a recognized university. If none is available with the above qualification then candidates having B.Sc. (second division) in Environmental Sciences from a recognized university.
Age Limit:
Male: 18 to 28 + 05 = 33 Years Female: 18 to 28 + 08 = 36 Years A g e a n d s e x o f t h e transgender will be based on the contents of their CNIC
Syllabus for test:
One paper MCQs type Written Test of 100 marks (90 minutes duration). Syllabus is as under:
1) General Knowledge, Pakistan Studies, Current Affairs, Islamic Studies (General Knowledge for Non-Muslim Candidates), Geography, Basic Mathematics, English, Urdu, Every-day Science and Basic Computer Studies. (50%)
2) Acts, Laws, Rules and Regulations described as under: (50%)
i)The Punjab Environmental Protection Act 1997 (Amended).
ii)The Punjab Prohibition on Manufacture, Sale, Use and Import of Polythene Bags (Black or Any Other Polythene Bag below Fifteen Micron Thickness) ordinance, 2002.
iii)Punjab Clean Air Policy (with phased action plan).
iv)Policy on Controlling Smog 2017.
v) National Climate Change Policy.
vi)The Punjab Environmental Protection (Delegation of Powers for Environmental Approvals) Rules, 2017.
vii)The Punjab Hospital Waste Management Rules, 2014.
viii)Punjab Environmental Protection (Motor Vehicles) Rules, 2013.
