(English Language)
a) (English Composition) Essay Writing, Precis writing, Comprehension, Drafting of
letters /notices/other forms of communication in English.
b) (English Grammar) Idioms, synonyms, antonyms, sentence correction /fill-in the
blanks with use of prepositions.
Paper-II (Subjective) Marks 100
(Urdu Language)
Essay Writing, précis, sentence correction, meanings & use of Idioms /phrases into sentences,
Explanation of Poetic Verses etc.
Paper-III (Subjective) Marks 100

Note: (An examinee is not expected to have an in-depth knowledge of these Rules yet
he/she should have reasonable acquaintance with the same)

v. The Punjab Delegation of Financial Powers Rules, 2016.

Paper-IV (Objective) Marks 100
(General Knowledge) Comprising of Pakistan Studies, Current Affairs, Everyday Science,
Geography, Basic Mathematics and basics of Computer /IT applications like MS Office,
Internet Browsing, Email etc.
Psychological Assessment and Interview/ Viva Voce: 100 Marks
Note:
i) Negative marking will be done and 0.25 Marks will be deducted for each wrong answer in the
MCQ type paper of general knowledge.
ii) A candidate shall have to obtain 40% marks in each paper and 50% marks in aggregate i.e.
200 marks to qualify for Interview. Thereafter, a candidate shall also secure 50% marks in the
Interview to be held eligible for final merit list of successful candidates
