INFORMATION OFFICER (BS-17)

QUALIFICATION/EXPERIENCE
Masters Degree (2nd Class) in Journalism or Mass Communication or Political Science or History or Urdu Literature or English Literature from recognized University .
Two years experience in Journalism or Mass Communication including work in the National Newspaper/Periodicals of repute or regional newspaper having ABC certification or recognized News Agency/Television Network. Radio Broadcasting Organization or Publicity in a Govt. Office.
Note:Experience in private entities shall be accepted if such entity is registered with SECP , Registrar of Firms or any other Regulatory Authority.Equivalent Qualifications:
M.AMass Communication
M.ADevelopment Journalism
M.AJournalism & Mass Communication.
M.AInternational Relations

Test Syllabus Subjective Type
One paper written test (Subjective type) of 100 marks and 3 hours duration.
Syllabus is as under:-Current Affairs, Pakistan Affairs, Islamic S tudies, International Relations, Basic Concept of Political Science and Knowledge of Journalism/Mass
Communication.

Qualification
Masters in Law / International Relations / International Law / Human Rights or LL.M.
OR Bachelors degree with major in Law, International Relations, International Law, Human Rights or LL.B with 02 years relevant work experience.
Note:The Experience will be counted which has been gained after acquiring prescribed qualification

One Paper MCQ Type Written T est of 100 marks of 90 minutes duration.

General Ability includes General Knowledge, Pakistan Studies, Current
Affairs, Geography , Basic Mathematics, English, Urdu and Everyday
